Guests can take a gentle walk or run through the Park behind the lodge or on the grass landing strip. It is best to do this either in the early morning or Late afternoon when the sun is not too hot.
The management happily take guests out for a sun downer walk once the sun dips low in the sky and the air cools down. Close to the lodge, there are tracks which take guests through the grassy pastures and Doum Palms of the Manda Ruins. Here you get a glimpse of remnants of stone buildings dating back to the 9th Century cradled in amongst gigantic Baobab trees and then head for a beautiful clearing up on the top of a sand dune for a refreshing beverage as the sun disappears over the horizon. Enjoy the comfortable cushions and lie back and watch satellites and star constellations with the aid of a laser light.
